By converting your Beretta 92 or 96 to .22LR you have the perfect training companion to your duty,defensive, or competitive firearm! At roughly 2 or 3 cents per round you get more trigger time, important since we default to our level of training under stressful situations. Basically, we perform as we train. The slide is CNC machined 7075 T6 aerospace aluminum, available in high gloss, matte flat black, or silver finishes. The barrel is made by E.R. Shaw of 4140 steel, and has a feed ramp that lines up with a ramp at the front of the magazine to facilitate reliable feeding. A large, single lug on the bottom of the barrel secured by the take-down latch creates a fixed barrel that contributes to greater accuracy. It feeds reliably with a wide cross section of ammunition, from standard to high to hyper velocity. Workmanship is excellent and accuracy is exceptional. Also, this is a great way for children and beginners to develop good skills without being afraid of noise or recoil. For some reason my daughter never liked shooting my .44 magnum but she'll shoot my .22 conversions all day!
