NOTE: Shooters with Surefire® Forends installed on their shotguns may experience sharp recoil on their weak hand against the lamp housing. This is due to the rearward movement of the shotgun over the pistol grip. We recommend that you hold the forend at least 1.5 inches back from the lamp housing to avoid this painful action. Single-handed firing is also made easier. It includes a 1" thick rubber recoil pad and a bottom mounted 1" sling swivels. All of these stocks (except Rem 870/1100/11-87) have a skeletonized stock to reduce weight.

This folding stock is made from Dupont Zytel® & 4140 steel. It comes fitted with a 1" recoil pad & two sling loops. The side folding stock MUST (excluding the Winchester-1400) be used with the Choate minimum length forend that is included with the kit.

They are constructed of solid blue steel (Selected models are available with a parkerized finish see below for availability.) and come complete with spring & installation instructions. The use of the 10 round extensions on semi-auto shotguns may be illegal. 9 & 10 shot extensions come with Sling Swivel base clamps to add needed support. These clamps are recommended for all extensions and are available below. Base clamps will not function on Browning A5 due to its' reciprocating barrel. All extensions will fit the 12, 16 and 20 gauge Remingtons. Will not fit 20 gauge light weight, you models or express.

It mounts directly on the receiver of the shotgun and holds the shells securely. Simply remove shotshells from shell holder and reload as needed. The SideSaddle® mounting plate is made from aircraft grade aluminum and the shell holder is injection molded from Hytrel®, a durable polymer that resists wear from moisture and temperature extremes. Installation is easy and in most cases, requires no alterations to the shotgun. Instructions and all the necessary mounting hardware are included. For Remington 870 Express and Wingmaster, a minor modification to the shotgun forend is required to prevent interference with the SideSaddle®.
