The addition of our steel 20 line per inch checkered housing is a great way to improve the grip and appearance
of your 1911. This drop in unit is machined from bar stock with real cut checkering. Many of our customers want to know whether flat or arched will best
suit them. Generally people with small or average size hands prefer a flat housing while people with large hands tend to prefer an arched housing. Has a low
luster bead glass finish.

We use .027" aircraft grade 17-7 PH stainless and heat treat them for maximum durability
and service life. More direct line feeding into the chamber and superior feed lip design
allow more versatility in your choice of ammunition. Springs are fabricated from heavy
duty spring wire for enhanced feeding, slide stop operation, and reduction of "spring set".
The base pad is removable for easy maintenance. All magazines fit full size Government
and Commander size1911 style autos,( except Officer Model, specified below). |
