Hands down, this is the most advanced design made and conceals 99.9% of flash on even short barrels! Four angled flutes dissipate the gas but contain unburned powder allowing increased residual burn for less visible flash. They have passed torture tests at Aberdeen Proving Grounds and are in heavy use by U.S. govt. agencies, U.S. military forces and are combat proven in the Middle East and other hot spots. The 2 1/4" Vortex is machined from 8620 bar stock and case hardened with a black parkerized finish. For pre-ban threaded .223 barrels only. Military Style has a groove behind the flutes to attach a Blank Firing Adapter. 1/2" x 28 TPI.
